School Files for Completions — Advocacy
Advocacy holds its own school files for completions — filed by library number, never by name. They show how many people took tests in this school, and that this school is effective at learning this way.
What a school file holds
Each file is filed under one library card number, and it holds only that number's own standing:
- how many tests that number completed;
- how many certificates that number achieved;
- the certificates filed under that number;
- the level that number stands at, including the level held before transferring to the next-level school.
No name is ever held in these files. A student may choose to add a name to their own certificate, but the name lives only on the student's own copy. This school files the number only — never the name.
Why the files are kept
They show how many people took tests, and whether the school is effective at learning this way. The family-wide picture is the sum over the files: tests taken, certificates achieved, levels reached.
No verification with the school
No one can verify anyone's certificate with the school. The school does not confirm or deny any certificate to any person, ever — not to an employer, not to an outsider, not to anyone. A certificate stands on its own face.
